Is MAGA Congressman Cory Mills’ Revenge Porn Scandal a Political Hit or a Damning Truth?

Florida’s Rep. Cory Mills, a card-carrying MAGA warrior, is knee-deep in a scandal that’s uglier than a swamp gator’s grin. Lindsey Langston, the 25-year-old Miss United States and a Florida GOP committeewoman, has accused him of harassment, threatening to leak explicit videos, and vowing to rough up her future boyfriends. She’s slapped him with a restraining order and handed over a pile of time-stamped texts to back her claims, first reported by Drop Site News on August 5, 2025. Mills, 45, swears it’s all a political hit job by a bitter rival, but the timing stinks: he allegedly sent a threatening text the same day he voted for the Take It Down Act, a law cracking down on revenge porn. With the Florida Department of Law Enforcement sniffing around and social media users tearing into him, is Mills a predator hiding behind his MAGA badge, or a victim of a well-timed smear? Let’s slice through the muck, weigh the evidence, and figure out what this means for Mills and the Trump-loving GOP.

A Beauty Queen’s Fight: The Allegations

Lindsey Langston, crowned Miss United States in October 2024, started dating Cory Mills in November 2021, when he was separated from his wife. Their three-year romance saw her move into his New Smyrna Beach rental home in 2024. But the fairy tale crashed in February 2025, when news broke that Mills had another girlfriend, Sarah Raviani, who accused him of assault at his D.C. condo. Raviani later backtracked, denying any physical altercation, though police noted bruises on her arms. Langston, blindsided by Mills’ double-dipping, called it quits.

What followed, Langston says, was a campaign of harassment. She filed a police report with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office on July 14, 2025, alleging he threatened to release intimate videos and harm any man she dated. One text, shared with Drop Site News, reads: “You want to date or be with someone else. Be my guest. But they need to know well in advance that if we cross paths, I don’t care this week, this month, or this decade. They better damn well know it’s coming every time.” Another Instagram message taunts: “P.S. still waiting on your boy’s text or does he only act tough in front of you? Florida is a small place and my cousin…just moved to Lake City.” Langston’s attorney, Anthony Sabatini—a former rival who lost to Mills in the 2022 GOP primary—calls it “sexual extortion and blackmail” under Florida’s statute 836.06.

Langston didn’t stop at a police report. She secured a restraining order against Mills, fearing for her safety and her hard-earned pageant crown. “The threats from Cory intensified over time,” she told Drop Site News. “From emotional manipulation to physical violence against whoever I date in the future, to threats of having me stripped of my crown—a dream I worked for long before I knew him.” The case is now with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), though no charges have been filed as of August 6, 2025.

Mills’ Rocky 2025: A Pattern of Trouble

Mills, representing Florida’s 7th District since 2023, has built his brand as a Trump diehard, even showing up at the former president’s hush money trial in 2024. But 2025 has been a dumpster fire. The Raviani assault claim in February, though retracted, left a mark—police documented bruises, raising doubts about her backpedaling. In May, soldiers who served with Mills called him out for “stolen valor,” questioning his military credentials. By July, he was facing eviction from his D.C. penthouse over $85,000 in unpaid rent, which he blamed on a glitchy payment system. Langston also dropped a bombshell to Blaze Media, claiming Mills got “sacks of cash” from associates at his home, a tidbit now fueling a House Ethics Committee probe into his finances.

The kicker? On May 19, 2025, Trump signed the Take It Down Act, a bipartisan law Mills supported, making nonconsensual intimate imagery a federal crime. That same day, Mills allegedly texted Langston: “Let him put his actions behind his mouth. I can send him a few videos of you as well. Oh, I still have them.” Social media users are eating it up, with one snarking, “Mills voted to stop revenge porn, then allegedly tried it himself. Hypocrisy level: expert.”

The Evidence: Texts, Tapes, and Testimony

Langston’s case rests on hard proof. She handed over time-stamped texts and Instagram messages to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, showing Mills’ relentless contact post-breakup. The police report details threats to tank her pageant title and intimidate future partners. Sabatini has shared some messages publicly, including one where Langston begs, “Leave me alone,” only for Mills to fire back with video threats. Three other ex-partners told Drop Site News they found Mills “frightening, disloyal, and unstable,” hinting at a pattern.

Mills is pushing back hard. “These claims are false and misrepresent the nature of my interactions,” he told Politico. “I have always conducted myself with integrity, both personally and in service to Florida’s 7th District.” He points the finger at Sabatini, claiming his old rival is weaponizing the courts for revenge. Mills’ team says he’s unaware of any police report and will cooperate fully. But the FDLE’s involvement and the restraining order suggest Langston’s claims aren’t being dismissed lightly.

The Skeptic’s Take: Smear or Scandal?

Politics is a knife fight, and Sabatini’s role raises eyebrows. His 2022 primary loss to Mills was ugly, and leaking texts to the press could be his chance to settle the score. Social media users are divided—some call it a “smear by a sore loser,” while others point to Mills’ rap sheet: assault allegations, eviction drama, and ethics probes. The Raviani case, despite her retraction, left questions, with police noting physical evidence. Langston’s “money bags” claim, though unproven, dovetails with the House Ethics Committee’s financial investigation, adding fuel to the fire.

But there’s room for doubt. The restraining order hasn’t been verified by every outlet, and Mills hasn’t been charged. Texts can be cherry-picked, and breakups get messy. Still, the sheer volume of messages and the FDLE’s escalation make it hard to wave this off. “My biggest fear is that this investigation will mirror the D.C. one,” Langston told Drop Site News, worried Mills’ congressional clout might protect him.

The Bigger Picture: MAGA’s Rough Patch

This isn’t just Mills’ mess—it’s a gut punch to the MAGA image. With his eyes on Marco Rubio’s Senate seat in 2026, Mills’ scandals could sink his chances. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has already flagged him as one of three vulnerable GOP reps in 2025. Social media users are merciless, with one jab: “Mills’ resume: eviction notices, assault allegations, and now sextortion. MAGA’s finest.” The Take It Down Act violation, if proven, is a PR disaster, given Mills’ vote for it.

The GOP’s having a bad year. From Pete Hegseth’s NDA drama to Liz Cheney’s Jan. 6 fallout, the party’s wading through scandals. Florida’s GOP, already wrestling with redistricting fights, can’t afford to look weak. If Mills’ allegations stick, the National Republican Congressional Committee might cut him loose, leaving him to fend for himself.

What’s Next? A Legal and Political Tightrope

The FDLE is still digging, with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office fielding calls from CNN and Fox News. Langston’s restraining order keeps the pressure on, but without charges, Mills is technically in the clear—for now. The House Ethics Committee’s financial probe could make things worse, especially if Langston’s cash claims hold water. Mills’ team is sticking to the “political hit” story, but the texts, Instagram messages, and accounts from other exes make that a tough sell.

For Langston, it’s personal. “I’m worried I’m just poking the bear,” she told Drop Site News, fearing retaliation. Her decision to go public, backed by solid evidence, has lit a fuse. Whether Mills faces legal consequences or spins this into a comeback, one thing’s certain: his MAGA shine is tarnished. As social media users put it, “Cory Mills’ 2025 is a masterclass in self-destruction.” Will justice win, or will politics bury the truth? Stay tuned—this one’s far from over.
